The Ticked Off Music Fest is a U.S. concert series dedicated to the prevention, awareness and cure of Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses that have become the fastest-growing infectious diseases in the country. The next event to launch is Ticked Off Music Fest Los Angeles, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the House of Blues at 8430 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, CA.
This week, friends of the show Greg Kirk and Sandi Bohle will join me on Lyme Light Radio to talk about the show in Los Angeles and what is next for the Ticked Off Music Fest! You can tune in live this Wednesday, February 25 at 4PM Eastern Time at http://www.transformationtalkradio.com or WBLQ AM 1230 in Rhode Island.
Here are some of the performers that will be appearing at the Ticked Off Music Festival in Los Angeles:
The music line-up features platinum-selling recording artists Cracker. The band is best known for their 1991 release “Cracker,” featuring “Happy Birthday to Me” and “Teen Angst,” followed by their 1993 release “Kerosene Hat,” featuring “Low” and “Euro-Trash Girl.” The band is currently promoting their latest release “Berkeley to Bakersfield.”
LA native and former X and Lone Justice guitarist Tony Gilkyson will play his brand of alternative country.
Also appearing is Lyme activist, author and lead singer Natalie London and her band Hey, King!
The fest will also feature several well-known speakers from the Lyme community, including “Out of the Woods” author Katina Makris, Lorraine Johnson from LymeDisease.org, and Inanna House founder Mara Williams.
