    1. Hello Katina,

It was lovely to hear/read about your journey from both your literature and my mom. She said she met you on her flight recently, on her way to Trinidad. It’s so funny the way the world works. One of my dear friends, Michael Van Huffel, has had lyme for going on 8 years now. To the point where no one knows what to do any longer. We recently started a GoFund Me page for him as he’s been cut off from insurance multiple times now as the government doesn’t believe he has an actual illness. He currently lives in Redwood City, CA and has about a hospital room set up in his apartment. The thing that breaks my heart more than anything is his extremely limited social interaction in a city of thousands. If we could get him to the East Coast we would. I would appreciate your input on his situation and any advise at all.

      Warmest Regards,

      Samantha
